The GM's Comments:
The Bidding War

Let the bloodshed commence!
Semper Amber!

It warmed my heart to find that the players had conspired to rig the Attribute Auction, setting values on the Attributes, and deciding who would win First Rank in each Auction. it warmed my heart even more to find that this plot lasted a total of about thirty seconds in the first Auction, then someone went and made a desperate grab for First Rank in Psyche, and the whole thing descended into a free-for-all. I love this game.

Strength and Endurance went fairly cheap. I'm not sure if that's because people's character concepts were such that they weren't concerned too much about these attributes, or whether they just aren't valued very highly. We'll find out when I start kicking the crap out of these wimpy little princelings with high-Strength enemies, who can keep going, and going, and going...

So, Sandy makes several comments about killing off the PCs who beat her in the Psyche Auction, and taking first place that way. She threatens Chris, with his First Rank, in front of God and everybody. Now I hear that she's worried that the group will turn into a bunch of distrustful, conniving Chaotic Evil types bent on killing each other. What's up with that?

The group seems fairly fractious, so it's going to be interesting to see how they deal with situations that require co-operation for them to survive. Especially as they lean more towards the Brain Weasel than towards the physically competent. We'll just have to hope they're smart enough to face the real enemies, instead of turning their hostilities on each other.
